fall is in my opinion, the best time for a wedding. and adam and jodi picked the perfect venue for an early fall day. while the temperature felt like late summer, the trees had started to turn and the backdrop of a perfect reflecting pond and big old tree made the day seem somewhat magical. between the couple and the venue, it was hard to take a bad picture.
it’s fair to say if matt and rachel have kids one day, they’re going to inherit quite a smile. there were plenty of smiles going around last sunday as the rain went away and the sun lit up a beautiful wedding day. the emotions were just as plentiful, as brandywine manor house played a perfect host to a barn wedding, with an energetic reception to follow.
joe and taylor graced the beautiful coast of the chesapeake bay at the wellwood club and had the perfect sunset right at the time of their ceremony. once the formal stuff was done and the nerves wore off, joe and taylor were all smiles, and their friends and family helped keep the dance floor lively.
at a typical wedding, the groom is normally being dragged out by the bride for a little dancing, at least for the slow songs. eric, on the other hand, set the tone on the dance floor. his moves were smooth and he kept a smile on his bride, laura’s face, as well as everyone else, all night. set on the delaware river on the ship, moshulu, the late summer night air made the perfect environment for eric and laura’s special day.
james and thanh had a marathon couple of days of celebration. saturday the couple went through a modified version of a cambodian wedding, which was filled with colors, music and different ceremonies. sunday, the celebration moved to philadelphia and the loews hotel. after a first look, we toured the city, hitting race street pier, penn treaty park, city hall and of course broad street. around 300 guests poured in for an elegant reception, highlighted by a trip to the top of the building, overlooking the city with the PSFS sign glowing brightly.
