joe and danielle know how to put on a party, and they picked the biggest party night of the year to do it. it was a marathon day, but it all came together flawlessly, as 2016 turned into 2017. we started with bridal portraits at one of the coolest chapels in the area, at the church farm school. from there, the day ended at the valley forge sheraton, where joe and danielle kicked off 2017 in style.
it was a busy and awesome year and it was even harder to narrow down my favorites after the opportunity to work with so many great people. here is a look at some of the highlights of 2016.
pete and megan’s wedding has been a long time coming and it was worth the wait. with the weather a bit windy and chilly, we decided to stay indoors for most of the portraits and i was pleasantly surprised how amazing the luzerne county courthouse was. we toured our way around the dome-topped building and got some unique pictures before venturing to appletree terrace for a wonderful night.
during jason and tara’s reception at the brandywine manor house, there was something missing… slow songs. outside of the first dance and parent/grandparent dances, anything slow was viewed as a potential deterrent to an amazing celebration. the strategy worked as the dance party went well over three hours. there was plenty to celebrate, after all, as jason and tara made it official in the picturesque barn at bmh. it was one of those weddings where it was hard to take a bad picture. hey, they’re gonna make beautiful babies one day!
there was rarely a time when the groom, rick, could be spotted without a smile. with an everyday positive disposition, rick was in all his glory on his wedding day, as kim kept his pearly whites showing all day. the ceremony was cozy, tucked away in a small garden at the flourtown country club and the reception was an apt celebration.
